Discover the Opportunities is a presentation on OFE's programs and services and is designed for community agencies, referral partners, employers, employment service providers and students. If you would like to learn about OFE and how we serve people in the community, help employers grow their businesses and contribute to our local economy, please contact us to register for a session. We can accommodate individual or groups for in-person or virtual delivery of the presentation. The session generally lasts one hour and the in-person version includes a tour of OFE at 294 Portage Avenue.

The Manufacturing Production Worker Program is a joint initiative between Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) and Opportunities for Employment (OFE) for job seekers interested in strengthening their English skills while preparing for a job in the Manufacturing sector. Attend the online Manufacturing Production Worker Program (REDI) information session to learn about this program, how it serves as a pathway to employment in manufacturing, and how to join the program. Canada Goose Information Session

The Canada Goose Program offers training to prepare job seekers for direct placement and long-term employment as Sewing Machine Operators with Canada Goose in Winnipeg. Applicants do not require prior sewing experience; training is provided for free at OFE followed by paid practical training at Canada Goose. This type of work will appeal to individuals who gain job satisfaction completing tasks and are quick learners with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Canada Goose offers full-time employment, a comprehensive benefits package, production bonuses, paid holidays, and a pension plan.
