Update: COVID-19 Awareness/OFE Emergency Preparedness

ATTENTION OFE STAFF, PARTICIPANTS, AND VISITORS:

Current Status:   We are open for in-person and virtual services.

To focus on safely providing assistance amidst COVID-19, all of our services are currently by appointment only.  Please call us at (204)925-3490, or email us at [email protected] or chat with one of our Service Advisors at www.ofe.ca to set up an appointment prior to coming to our office. We are continuing to provide a full-range of support. Staff are working on-site to assist over 500 Job Seekers.  Intake applications are being received.  

COVID PRECAUTIONS:
~Please stay home if you are feeling ill 
~Use the self-screening tool before coming to OFE
~As of March 15, 2022 masks/face coverings are recommended for staff, participants and visitors
~Please read and adhere to our COVID-19 signage regarding our protocols including safe hygiene practices
~Guests/visitors/contractors etc. please do the online self-assessment and check-in at the Welcome Desk to provide r information for contract tracing
~Follow social-distancing and safety protocols recommended by public health officials and maintain a minimum of two meters of distance between you and anyone else at OFE
~Use alternate meeting formats when possible

JOB SEEKERS:

In-person services are available by appointment.
   In addition, our staff are available to assist you virtually. OFE job seekers are encouraged to continue to connect with their assigned Employment Consultant via email or office phone. We have opened a live chat option on our website at www.ofe.ca,whichwill be operated between 8:00 and 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. After hours, please leave a message and we will follow-up with you. In response to the demand for job search assistance despite the pandemic, OFE continues to accept new clients. If you are currently receiving provincial benefits, please contact us to find out if your application will be eligible to move forward at this time. We are looking forward to partner with you in your job search.
