Employer Liaison, Monday to Friday days, Term position (12-18 months with possibility of extension)

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic, sales-oriented individual to join our team. The Employer Liaison is responsible for brokering training and employment opportunities for program participants. The incumbent will contact employers directly to market the opportunity within a variety of sectors, strategically matching participants and the needs of employer partners by negotiating work experience, training opportunities, and direct placements. This position offers a competitive salary and free parking. OFE is located downtown Winnipeg, next to the Canada Life Center. Our team of over 50 staff members is a dynamic group of professionals, committed to empowering job seekers and connecting them with local employers.

Qualifications:

• This position requires a self-motivated, out-going and optimistic person who has an entrepreneurial spirit. Education or experience in business, sales/marketing, Human Resources, employment services or recruiting would be an asset in this position.

• The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales, the ability to multitask, current computer skills, a valid class 5 driver’s license and daily access to a reliable vehicle.

• Eligible applicants will be able to obtain a clear criminal record check upon request.

• OFE operates Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm in downtown Winnipeg. The Employer Liaison will enjoy a mix of working in and out of the office, travelling throughout the city of Winnipeg and visiting various workplaces daily.
